History

In the late 1970s, Broker John Sowell and his partner started their company in Midtown Memphis. John's wife Linda worked there as a Realtor and soon became the principal broker. In the 1990s she and John bought his partner's share of the business and changed the name to Sowell & Company Realtors. It is a family-owned business to this day, and its roots in Midtown remain strong, with a continued history of supporting local businesses and community events.
